Thanks to the hard work and generous donations of many of our members and other supporters, we have accomplished much since we were established in 1998. Some of our many projects include:
Establishment and maintenance of gardens around the Nature Center and elsewhere in the Park
Establishment of a registered arboretum dedicated to trees native to our region
Creation of a family fitness trail at the Park
Construction of trail bridges, installation of trail signs, and help with trail maintenance
Construction and maintenance of information kiosks
Creation and printing of park trail maps
Financial and logistical support for Wildlife Weekend, summer nature camps, and other educational activities at the Park
Establishment of the Mountain Empire Butterfly Club
